Scripture SOAK November!

  Hi Friends!!!
Some of you joined with me for Blogtober, and I really enjoyed it!  It was nice to take some time to set aside and write for several days.  Needless to say, I didn't write every day, but it was still a lot of fun!
I wanted to create one of my own in November, and I wanted to use it as a way of outreach to Ministry, so I created this lovely graphic, and wanted to call it: Scripture SOAK November!  Feel free to grab and share!!!

Basically, the idea is to write each day in November about the specific scripture that is referenced too in this graphic!  I want people to take this and do with it what they wish, but all in all, if you do this it will give you a month to stay in your bible, and a daily reading of Gods word!

The way that I will be writing this will be adapting the SOAK study method!  I love this method!  We used this when we had our bible study group at Fruitland, and it really resonated with me!

This method originally comes from womenlivingwell.org and the Good Morning Girls Bible study group!

Basically, you take the (S) Scripture
One verse from the scripture that really stood out to you during your reading

(O) Observe the scripture
Something you have observed from the scripture, be it something you have learned in the past or something you found in your own personal bible study

(A) Apply the scripture
How does that scripture apply to your own life, or the lives of those around you in a personal way?

(K) Kneel in prayer
Write a short prayer inspired by the scripture

That is my preferred method, but I hope to see others who will use this and stay in their word all month as well!  Feel free to use the graphic on your own blog or share it via social media as you will.  If you are using it for the SOAK method let me know I would love to follow along with you!

Have a blessed, Scripture soaked November friends!
