Happy Homemaker Monday!

Once again, Joining Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, for my favorite weekly linkup!

Breakfast time....what is on the plate this morning::::
My usual, I had a slimfast shake for breakfast, then after working out I had some greek yogurt with PB2 and a few chocolate chips!  Yummy, and filling!

Right now I am::::
   Taking a moment to catch up on Bloggy things while the kids are working on their independent work!  Love this homeschooling life!

The weather outside::::
  Very warm!  We had a semi-chilly day on Saturday which made it nice for the fall festival at church!  But its still been nice.  We still have out our shorts and tshirts.  They say fall may come.  I'm still skeptical lol.

Looking around the house::::
I have quite a bit of cleaning to do.  It was a busy weekend and we weren't home very much.  Today is a busy day, so I need to get it done!  It's the World day of Prayer our church WMU group is meeting to pray with soup and sandwiches this evening..  yumm!  And a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship.  Not to mention soccer practice and a game.  *sigh* Keep hopping!

On today's to do list::::
   Laundry, which I'm almost caught up on
   School!  Halfway through by this time...
   Make soup for our World day of Prayer dinner
   Tidy up, clean off the countertops with apple cider vinegar to deter the miserable fruit flies....  eeck.
   Go to the little guys (our Pink Panthers, Sawyers team!) soccer practice, and have a game following practice
   Have the dinner at the World day of Prayer at our church's fellowship hall
    Come home and READ my book.  I have a paper due in my class THIS WEEKEND!  Ahhh!  It's been too long since I've been in school!

Currently reading::::
World Filled Women's Ministry!  I have to complete it and write a paper about it this week, so I won't be reading anything else for myself!  I am however one chapter away from finishing BFG with little sister and a few from finishing Desperaux with big brother!  Excited to see what they choose next!

On the TV today::::
  I finished Season 3 of When Calls the Heart this morning while working out :(  And it made me sad and then happy all over again!  I don't know how long I have to wait before season 4 is on Netflix :(  Not sure what I'll watch in the meantime!  I haven't watched Once yet either, after last weeks episode, this may be the end of my Once Upon a Time fandom. :( which makes me sad!  It probably should have ended last season.

On the menu this week::::

Monday - Dinner at church, I'm making my Tomato Basil Soup, we LOVE that!
Tuesday - Chicken and dumplings, we have wanted this for awhile!
Wednesday - Fish and pasta
Thursday - Spaghetti
Friday - Unsure, possibly eating out
Saturday - Cold plates at church for couples meeting
Sunday -Covered dish lunch at church, so likely something very light!

If I have a few minutes to myself, I will::::
I won't.  I'm sure.  Not with so much work to do for class and church!

New recipe I tried, or want to try this week::::
   Probably not this week, lol.  I do have some flounder that I plan to cook Wednesday, and I need to knwo what to do with that!

Looking forward to this week::::
   Just spending some family time at home.  Couples meeting is always fun, and this is my first World day of Prayer meeting, so I'm looking forward to that!

Favorite photo from the camera::::
    Some pictures from our fall festival this Saturday!  Mostly of my boy, because he's so darn cute!  That and I was following him around all night while the older kids played with their own friends :)

Craft time was naptime for Sawyer :)

Pastor giving devotions.  He's pretty cute too :)

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses::::
   This morning I couldn't read anymore of the news, so I sat down to my Bible.  I have been doing the Scripture Soak November, and today I was reading Psalm 37.  Basically the whole thing spoke to my heart about the tragedy that went on in Texas yesterday, in a little country church, much like our own...    so read the whole chapter, but I'm going to post a verse that especially touched me...

Psalm 37:  But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them;
He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them,
Because they trust in Him.
