Happy Homemaker Monday at
Breakfast time....what is on the plate this morning::::
Morning was long ago! I never seem to be writing these in the morning!
Right now I am::::
Spending some time at my new makeshift desk in the school room, just relaxing and reflecting on the past week and the week to come!
The weather outside::::
It's been chilly! It's silly to call it 'chilly' here in the mid 60s when I know that this morning my Mom said it was 21 in our hometown! But this feels cold, perhaps because its been so warm? I think we are going back to the high 70s by the weekend, which would be perfect for the soccer games! Hopefully we will finish this up soon!
Looking around the house::::
Not too shabby! It's been a busy weekned, with Homecoming game and parade on Friday with my oldest daughter, then a sleepover with friends on Friday for my youngest daughter's birthday celebration... a busy weekend!
I need to start my Word-Filled Womens Ministry book for my class I'm taking through Southeastern! Where does time go? I'm currently about halfway through Scarlett... and LOVING it!
On the TV today::::
I'm certainly not a daily TV watcher. I'm into season 3 of When Calls the Heart and wish there were a hundred more seasons! Also Once was okay this week. I loved the storyline that follows the old characters, but I'm just thinking that they are going in a direction that I do not appreciate with one of the new characters... so I don't know if I'm going to be able to follow or not. Which is a bummer, because I was really enjoying the new storyline!
Also, my family doesn't celebrate Halloween, so tomorrow we watch our FIRST Christmas movie of the year! YAY!!! I'm thinking... Elf? Or Polar Express? I just can't decide!
On the menu this week::::
Havne't even thought that far ahead lol...
If I have a few minutes to myself, I will::::
Work on something fun that I'm planning for my blog in November! I'm excited about it!!
New recipe I tried, or want to try this week::::
Along with the first Christmas movie, I want to bake some Christmas goodies tomorrow as well! I guess I will decide what that is when I go to the store tomorrow :)
Looking forward to this week::::
It's going to be cold the first part of the week, so I hope I can get caught up! We also have a lot going on at church, including a Fall festival this weekend, which I think will be fun!
Favorite photo from the camera::::
My sweet girl turned 11 this weekend! How is that so?? Last year she got her first American Girl doll, Rebecca. This year she got Nanea! She was so happy when she came in the mail!
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses::::
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own,[c] and His own[d] did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
